Fuji-Tama-chan cat slippers by Japanese artist Satoshi Onodera.

Each pair of our small production slippers is beautifully screen printed by Satoshi Onodera.

All of the print designs are different, but each cat screen print also has a different hue and hand-printed texture. They are truly one-of-a-kind slippers.

But why "Fuji-Tama-Chan"?

"Chan" is a Japanese term for a child or someone close to you.

“Tama" is the name of the most famous cat in Japan. For some reason, the name of cats in Japan has always been "Tama".

And "Fuji" is the name of the highest mountain in Japan, Mt.Fuji.

Look closely at this Fuji Tama's face.
Mt.Fuji in the middle of his face.

That is why it is called "Fuji-tama-chan".

Satoshi Onodera's unique and beautiful creations are filled with love for nature and animals.

We hope you enjoy our special slippers.
