Begrüßen Sie das neue Jahr mit neuen Hausschuhen!

In Japan und anderen ostasiatischen Regionen ist es Brauch, im neuen Jahr neues Schuhwerk vorzuführen. Am Ende des Jahres kaufen wir neue Schuhe, Hausschuhe und anderes Schuhwerk. Und im neuen Jahr ziehen wir dann dieses neue Schuhwerk an.  


Ich weiß nicht, warum solch eine leise Tradition noch immer tief verwurzelt ist in unserer Kultur. Aber ich glaube eher, dass es ein wichtiger Brauch ist, der uns hilft, unseren Geist und unsere Gefühle zu erfrischen, um uns den neuen Herausforderungen des neuen Jahres zu stellen und um uns zu ermutigen, einen Schritt in die Zukunft zu machen.
