Japanische Hausschuhe sind ein unverzichtbarer Bestandteil der häuslichen Entspannung in Japan, aber sie spielen auch eine wichtige Rolle bei der Bewirtung von Gästen.

In einem japanischen Haushalt gibt es neben den Hausschuhen, die normalerweise von der Familie verwendet werden, auch viele Haushalte, die spezielle Hausschuhe für Gäste vorbereiten.

Wir verwenden für diese Gäste Hausschuhe, die etwas Besonderes sind.

Auf diese Weise zeigen wir unseren Gästen "omotenashi".

Jedes Paar Hausschuhe hat seinen eigenen kulturellen Hintergrund.
