Collection: Tatami Slippers

Tatami Slippers | Heiwa Slipper

These slippers are tailored with a lot of simple Japanese Hiroshima denim. The tatami part is also made in Japan, of course, using real Igusa (a plant used to make tatami) grown in Japan. Furthermore, we use the tip of the ear, which is the most precious and high quality part of Igusa.

Therefore, it is a higher quality product with a finer mesh and more beautiful to the touch than ordinary traditional and genuine Japanese tatami.
Because of the limited production quantity, we are not able to make a large quantity of these tatami slippers. Also, the production period is limited, so we may not have enough stock at certain times of the year.
We hope that people all over the world will discover the charm of Japanese indoor footwear culture.
