About Our Tatami

The tatami part is made in Japan using real Igusa (a plant used to make tatami) grown in Japan. We use the tip of the ear — the most precious and high quality part of Igusa — resulting in a finer mesh and more beautiful texture than ordinary tatami.

Due to limited production quantity and seasonal availability, stock may be limited at certain times of the year.
